A wet bottle-rinsing project needs a clear boundary for incoming water, filtration or treatment, machine tanks and pumps where used, spray or nozzle delivery, bottle drainage, drip containment, floor or piped drainage and the final wastewater connection. Each boundary affects installation, cleaning access, overflow risk and the moisture carried to downstream equipment.

The acceptable rinse water condition depends on the product, container, process and quality system. It should be defined by the buyer rather than inferred from the machine description. Wastewater routing and any treatment or discharge requirement are site-specific and should be reviewed by the competent environmental, facilities and quality teams before final design.

Questions that should be resolved before the machine reaches site.

Can the drain accept peak flow?

Check transient discharge, cleaning flow and other equipment using the same drain, not only the average rinse condition.

Where can water collect?

Review cabinet bases, drip trays, conveyor interfaces and floor levels so standing water is not created around access or electrical areas.

What reaches the next machine?

Measure bottle carry-over and external drips at the actual transfer speed, especially before coding or pressure-sensitive labelling.
